AppOnboard units may contain links to the App Store to download and install apps. Use of the App Store is governed by Apple’s iOS and App Store privacy policies. We are not responsible for the information practices of Apple or the App Store.
If you want to opt-out from having your information collected used to target and optimize units served, follow the instructions below for the relevant platform.
For iOS6+ (Apple Support):
For devices with Limit Ad Tracking enabled, we will not track your activities for the purpose of serving targeted units. You will continue to receive units after opting-out, but they will not be targeted based on activities and behavior. To disassociate all of the data collected from your unique device identifier from your device, select “Reset Advertising Identifier” option.
For Android (Google Support):
Publishers of app are the ones responsible for making sure their mobile apps comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), including if needed, obtaining parental consent prior to the collection of personal information. Unique device identifiers (IDFA) are the only personal information under COPPA that AppOnboard collects from mobile users, and uses the unique identifiers (and other associated information) it collects from mobile users to only support internal operations.
AppOnboard implements industry-standard and sound security measures, both technical and administrative, to safeguard the information we collect from mobile users from the SDK and stored in a database. Data may be backed up or stored on multiple servers to ensure its safety.
AppOnboard may transfer all information and data to a successor entity in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other corporate change. If AppOnboard is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified of change in ownership.
